Geisha’s Blade 芸者の刃 very first exhibit! Big thanks to the University of the Philippines Anime Manga Enthusiasts (UP AME) for inviting us to display our products at their annual event: AME no Jidai at the A. Venue Hall, Makati City last Nov 28, 2009.
Unfortunately all of our stocks were already sold out at that time, so we had to display our personal collection. We also borrowed a friend’s collection (swords he purchased from us) to add to our display. Here are some photos we took during our very first public exhibit.
It was a very fun experience for us! We enjoyed interacting with the people inquiring during the event, talking about Japanese swords. We also taught them proper etiquette in handling swords and maintenance. We hope to participate again in upcoming events.
